Solari Shawl Bundle
We were so thrilled when longtime Friend of the Flock Samantha Guerin chose Weld for her entry in Laine’s 52 Weeks of Shawls book, and we’re celebrating its launch as an individual pattern with kits! Named for the Latin verb meaning “to console,” Solari is an invitation to the comforting rhythm of knit and purl stitches and the soothing repetition of slipped stitches. The shawl is knitted from the top down. Offered in two sizes, it would be cozy and elegant styled with the shawl point in the front, “bandana style” with the ends tied together below.
Kits include 5 skeins of Weld in Fawn (MC) and 4 skeins in Gold Leaf (CC), sufficient to make the larger size (as shown in the photos), and an H+W project bag.
Digital pattern sold separately on Ravelry.*

*Wondering why? We know it creates an extra step for you, the knitter, but we promise there's a good reason. This approach allows for the most efficient (and maximum) compensation for our indie designer friends, who are able to realize more money selling the pattern retail than selling it to us wholesale. Independent designers are a critical part of our knitting community, and we appreciate your helping us do our part to ensure that our Friends of the Flock are compensated for their work.
