Naimh (pr. NEEV) by longtime Friend of the Flock Emily Greene, is another signature cardigan design that has all the best “Emily stuff” you’ve come to know and love. Naimh features clever increases and decreases, deep pockets, and 1x1 to 2x2 rib transitions, and tubular cast ons and bind offs for a beautiful and polished finished object. This lightweight cardigan is made in our soft and springy Weld. It’s worked from the bottom up in pieces and seamed, and the button band is picked up and worked after seaming.

Emily Greene is a Portland, Maine-based designer of knitwear and buildings. Her graphic handknit designs are heavily influenced by her architectural background and by her broader studies of shape, pattern, and surface design. Emily’s modern knitwear designs have been published by Laine Magazine, Brooklyn Tweed, Pom Pom Quarterly, and Woolfolk.
