We’re all about hats at H+W, and Emily Greene always has another snuggly knit hat up her sleeves. Morgan is a two-fer cabled beanie or watchcap, featuring interlocking, criss-cross cables around the body. This hat is worked from the bottom up in the round, starting with an optional tubular cast on. Sized inclusively for every head this hat is beckoning for the front line in your autumn/winter hat rotation.

Needles: 
Size A (for main fabric): US 2.5 (3.0 mm): 16” (40 cm) circular and double-pointed needles.
Size B (for optional tubular cast on): US 2 (2.75 mm: 16” (40 cm) circular needle.
Adjust needle size if necessary to obtain the correct gauge.

Notions:

Emily Greene is a Brooklyn-based designer of knitwear and buildings. Her graphic handknit designs are heavily influenced by her architectural background and by her broader studies of shape, pattern, and surface design. Emily’s modern knitwear designs have been published by Laine Magazine, Brooklyn Tweed, Pom Pom Quarterly, and Woolfolk. Through her signature use of diagonal lines and texture, Emily aims to create patterns that inspire and challenge makers to stretch their skills and elevate their handknit wardrobes.
