Sizes:
Finished circumference (unstretched) approximately 22.5” / 57 cm; 13” / 33 cm tall with brim unfolded for double-brim version; 9.5” / 24 cm tall for single-brim version.
Needles:
Size A (for body): US 7 (4.5 mm): 16” (40 cm) circs, longer circ for magic loop, or DPNs, per knitter preference.
Size B (for ribbing): US 5 (3.5 mm): 16” (40 cm) circs, longer circ for magic loop, or DPNs, per knitter preference.

Sloane Rosenthal is the co-founder of Hudson + West Co. In addition to her line of self-published patterns, her knitwear designs have been featured in Interweave Knits, Knit.Wear, Wool Studio, and By Hand Serial. She is author of three knitwear pattern books, Independent Fabrication Volumes 1 and 2, and Wine Country Knits. A native of Washington, D.C., she now lives in Boulder, CO with her husband and two children, where she runs H+W HQ West.
