Well Traveled, from longtime Friend of the Flock Samantha Guerin, is a soft and fuzzy shawl featuring our Weld with a mohair laceweight perfect for our Spark! This gently undulating cabled shawl is a soothing knit perfect for spring and summer knitting anywhere.

Hudson + West Co. Spark (78% kid mohair / 28% silk; 459 yds [420 m] / 1.76 oz [50 g]): sunrise (dusky pink), 2 skeins.
Yarns held doubled throughout project.

Needles:
Size A (for shawl): US 6 [4 mm] 32" [80 cm] or longer circular needle for magic loop, or preferred needle for small-circumference circular knitting.
Adjust needle size if necessary to obtain the correct gauge.
Notions:
Cable needle (cn); tapestry needle; blocking materials (i.e. wool wash, towel, pins)
Gauge:
21 sts and 26 rows = 4” [10 cm] in Charted patt, after blocking.

Samantha Guerin lives and designs in a coastal New England town. Her designs feature a blend of simple textures with engaging techniques like lace, brioche and color work.
