Inspired by heritage American knitwear, Porter is a grandly cabled cardigan, featuring a shawl collar, pockets, and baked-in wearability. Made for everyone, this unisex cardigan is designed using ASTM for Men, creating a “classic fit” for most men and a “relaxed fit” for most women. These gorgeous timeless cables are referred from Alice Starmore’s Aran Knitting, a essential reference (and pattern!) book for any cable knitwear designer and knitter. Porter is a seamed cardigan worked from the bottom up in pieces. The button bands and collar are attached as worked in finishing and a three-needle BO closes the back neck.
