Ethereal, soothing, and functional — three words that aren’t necessarily found together often, but perfectly capture Hazel by Sloane Rosenthal. This massive, uber-comforting shawl features sections of simple mosaic knitting with a huge payoff. Wear it traditionally or wrapped around your neck as a voluptuous scarf: this shawl is one to take everywhere as a security blanket with style.
Made in Weld, this lightweight shawl is worked from the top down in a traditional triangle shape. Three sections of mosaic knitting transition the colors throughout the shawl, ending with a squishy ribbed border. For the last leg of this shawl, you’ll want an extra long needle to accommodate the stitches. Once bound off, watch this beauty bloom in blocking.
