Meet Seawood: H+W Summer Shawl Series, Pt. 1

As thermostats strike 100 across the U.S., we're introducing the first of our H+W Summer Shawls series for cool knits by the ocean, poolside, or next to the A/C.

Meet Seawood, our first shawl in this two-part series, made by our dear friend Lana Jois. This breezy shawl features Lana's signature lace-and-cables with a twist: the cables are faux, so it's even easier than it appears!

Lana's beautiful design brings out the best in Weld; the crisp definition lends itself to structured and bouncy lace for a wrap that will never loose its shape.

Made from end to end, Seawood begins with just one stitch and increases to the magnificent picot border. The simple and repetitive lace-and-faux-cable motif is rhythmic and intuitive, making this shawl the perfect project for the  dog days of summer.

If you're itching to cast on your own Seawood, you can assemble your own yarn+pattern bundle here. Pattern and yarn are both available separately, but we'll send you one of our brand new H+W project bags with the bundle.

While we're living in the time of COVID-19, we had to get a little creative with our photography. Thanks to our wonderful friends at Harper Point Photography for coming up with beautiful laydowns and even modeling for us!

    Happy Summer, everyone!

BTC expropriation began with hopes of financial growth and prosperity, only to end in devastation when I realized I had fallen victim to a scam, losing a staggering $47,000. The enticing promises of high returns and effortless profits turned out to be nothing more than a cruel deception, leaving me feeling betrayed and distraught. In my darkest hour, I came across Mrs. Lisette Zamora and her recovery firm, who became my guiding light. From our very first interaction, their team demonstrated unmatched professionalism, empathy, and determination to seek justice. With unwavering commitment, they took charge of my case, skillfully navigating the complex legal landscape to recover my stolen funds.

“In the crypto world, this is great news I want to share. Last year, I fell victim to a scam disguised as a safe investment option. I have invested in crypto trading platforms for about 10yrs thinking I was ensuring myself a retirement income, only to find that all my assets were either frozen, I believed my assets were secure — until I discovered that my BTC funds had been frozen and withdrawals were impossible. It was a devastating moment when I realized I had been scammed, and I thought my Bitcoin was gone forever, Everything changed when a close friend recommended the Capital Crypto Recover Service. Their professionalism, expertise, and dedication enabled me to recover my lost Bitcoin funds back — more than €560.000 DEM to my BTC wallet. What once felt impossible became a reality thanks to their support. If you have lost Bitcoin through scams, hacking, failed withdrawals, or similar challenges, don’t lose hope. I strongly recommend Capital Crypto Recover Service to anyone seeking a reliable and effective solution for recovering any wallet assets. They have a proven track record of successful reputation in recovering lost password assets for their clients and can help you navigate the process of recovering your funds.
