Wednesday WIP: The Throwover, Pt. 2

Meghan's The Throwover WIP

Guys, it's been a week and it's only Wednesday. I've been working steadily along on projects seen and unseen, and some are giving me a harder time than others. As a distraction from those fiber projects, I decided to take a stab at my old adversary: baking bread.

Yes, I'm one of those people growing a sourdough starter on my kitchen counter. Honestly, I have no idea how it's going. There appears to be life, and I've fed it a couple of times, but it's yet to fluff up the way the internet promises. More on that next time. Either I will have flushed it down the toilet or I'll have some sort of fluffy, sponge-like thing in a mason jar that can leaven bread.

Day 4: What? 🤷🏻‍♀️

In the meantime, while I stress over my inability to cultivate bacteria in a jar, I've also been working sporadically on my The Throwover by Andrea Mowry. This is the second top down sweater in a row, but the first that has all the colorwork only on the yoke. Despite my best intentions to finish this quickly, the mountain of stockinette in the body and sleeves isn't keeping my attention for long periods of time.

So stretchy and beautiful!

No matter! Let's revel in what I have accomplished!  The body is complete and finished with a lovely, stretchy tubular bind off. I decided, after much deliberation and cutting, to make the body as written in the pattern. For me, the length of this sweater is a bit short, and I think after blocking this will fit more like a crop than a standard length sweater, but that is fine by me! Given the length, I'll probably style it over a dress.

In hindsight, I probably would have made the stockinette section a bit shorter and the ribbing a little longer so it really nipped in nicely at my natural waist, but I think the swingy, drapey fabric of Forge on US 8 / 5 mm needles is going to make for a more graceful sweater.

Look at that pretty bind off!

And speaking of tubular bind offs, check out my gorgeous neckline, as well! I can't get enough of this bind off, and will have to do a tutorial as soon as I achieve some rudimentary video editing skills.

Until next time! Keep safe, stay home, and keep on making-growing-doing beautiful things.

xo,
Meghan

In process of recovering it back, I kept meeting fakes recovery expert, I was scammed multiple times, last year was indeed a terrible year for me, since then I have trouble taking care of myself as well as feeding my two 2year old kid nor was I able to pay off my bills. until I confide in a close friend of mine since things are becoming so difficult for me, she then introduced me to crypto recovery group of hacker that uses Rootkits Spammers top-notch known as Jamesmckaywizard, I reached out to them with the last hope I had left, their service is a little bit high but I was able to make a part payment with the help of my friend, their services is so smooth quick and super fast with good results, I was very happy as they successfully recovered back more than what I lost to those heartless scammers. It was indeed worth it, it was truly amazing. I had lost all hope after being scammed out of my entire life savings $140,000 USD in a fake USDT investment scheme. It was one of those too good to be true opportunities, I’d stumbled upon through a seemingly professional Telegram channel. The setup was convincing, the returns were promised, and like many others desperate for financial freedom, I fell for it. But when it came time to withdraw my profits, the excuses began. Then silence. My funds were gone. In desperation, I turned to online forums, trying to find others like me or perhaps a way to recover what I had lost. That’s when I encountered so-called recovery experts. One after another, they made promises, asked for upfront payments, and vanished each one compounding the sense of betrayal and despair. I was emotionally drained and ashamed, until one late night, buried deep in a cybersecurity forum thread, I saw a comment about something called the Alpha Spy Nest. The name was odd, but what caught my eye was how other users vouched for them, people who shared stories eerily similar to mine. Cautiously, I reached out. Unlike others, they didn’t make promises; instead, they asked for detailed documentation, transaction IDs, and communication logs. Their methods were technical and calculated, nothing like the flashy guarantees I’d seen before. Over the span of a few Hours, they traced blockchain transactions, uncovered a pattern, and ultimately identified the exit wallets used by the scammers. Through legal partnerships and backchannel coordination with crypto exchanges, Alpha Spy Nest managed to freeze and reclaim a significant portion of the stolen funds. When $120,000 returned to my wallet, I cried for the first time in years not out of sadness, but relief. The Alpha Spy Nest didn’t just recover my money; they restored my faith in justice, and also in the internet, just a little. I made a promise to also let the world know how good and legit Alpha Spy Nest seems by sharing my testimony online. About two weeks back I was involved in a crypto trading scam. I sent approximately $25,000 worth btc into a trading platform where I lost all my fund to scammers online. I was really sad and disappointed. I couldn’t but try contact a team of expert I linked up with online (Blockchainrecall@gmail.com) they appear to have a successful recovery and they delivered results.
