Kuffel: Meghan's Size Inclusive WIP

Kuffel by Alexis Winslow

My knitting needles are empty. Well, sort of. My selfish knitting needles are empty. After binding off my Star Crossed and immediately putting it on I realized that I have our entire Deep Winter 2020 collection to chose from for my next selfish knitting project. Kuffel by Alexis Winslow is my next sweater on deck and I've been thinking extensively about my color options and also any modification I might want to make for my body type.

As a plus size knitter, the latter is usually the first thing I consider when I'm contemplating a new design to cast on. It is a rare occasion for me to cast on a project without some modifications, which is something I rather enjoy. It makes the project my own, tailored for me, and gives me a little extra to think about while I'm making a garment for myself.
In the case of Kuffel, I am anticipating the hem line ending at a spot I'd rather it not for my body shape (A is for Apple). I've been intrigued by several sweaters with high-low hemlines of late (like the gorgeous Grey Space, which is in my queue!), making the front a bit on the cropped side and the back gently brushing the tush. I think this option for my Kuffel is the perfect solution, as I'll be able to style it over dresses, as well as long tops with jeans, which is perfect for my existing wardrobe!
Sunsent over San Bernardino
Alexis recommends approximately 8-14" [20.25 - 35.5 cm] of positive ease for this top, which is a generous range, but I've found that going beyond 10" [25.5 cm] of positive ease for my 50" [127 cm] bust things start to get a bit....excessive for my taste. Especially considering the lovely large graphic running over my already ample bust. So I'm probably going with the 58" [147.25 cm] finished chest for my Kuffel, so it's not too big, but still extremely cozy.
Look at all that beautifully bold colorwork!
It is well established that by preferred colors are black, gray, and dark black, but I'm going to attempt to branch out a bit with this design...maybe? Here are my color combos, and the struggle has been real to choose.

The Choices

Charcoal + Ash

Red Feather + Fawn

Ash + Aspen

Evergreen + Fawn

What do you think? I'm leaning towards Charcoal + Ash, but I also love Red Feather + Fawn, too. Let me know and stay tuned for more on my progress!

xo,
Meghan

Recovering from a Cryptocurrency Scam: My Personal Experience

As a single mother seeking to improve my family’s financial situation, I was approached by a company called BTCM Company on Facebook, promoting a Bitcoin investment opportunity with promises of high returns. The offer appeared legitimate, and after being persuaded by their representatives, I invested $330,000, believing it would secure a better future for my children.

However, after two months, I discovered that I couldn’t withdraw any of my funds. It was then that I realized I had fallen victim to a sophisticated and well-organized scam. Desperate to recover my money, I reached out to several so-called “experts” and “hackers,” but they turned out to be scammers as well.

Just when I had lost all hope, I came across Icon Assets Recovery through a local community recommendation. Their team was professional, trustworthy, and worked tirelessly to recover my funds within just a week.

I am incredibly grateful for their prompt and effective assistance. If you’ve fallen victim to online scams, I highly recommend Icon Assets Recovery. Their expertise and integrity set them apart in an industry overwhelmed by fraud.

My name is Mark Greaney, and I run a small business in Texas. It all started with a phone call informing me that federal authorities were investigating me for money laundering. I was completely baffled. The person on the other end of the line claimed to be with the DEA, gave me my badge number and a case number, and even sounded like a real federal agent.

They told me my Social Security number was linked to serious criminal activity, and if I didn’t cooperate immediately, a warrant would be issued. I was terrified. They convinced me the only way to clear my name was to transfer money to a “secure digital wallet” for verification, a cryptocurrency wallet controlled by them.
Over several days, I transferred over $150,000 in Bitcoin, believing I was protecting myself and my business. It wasn’t until I finally told my son what was going on that I realized it was all a carefully orchestrated scam. These criminals used fear, urgency, and false authority to lure me into a trap and they succeeded. When I learned that a fake call center in Pune, India, had been shut down for defrauding Americans in exactly this way, I was both relieved and angry. The emotional and financial damage was real, and I didn’t believe I’d ever get back what I’d lost.
That’s how I came across ICC Recovery. At first, I was skeptical, but after thoroughly checking their background and speaking with their team, I decided to take the plunge. They guided me step by step through the recovery process, documenting the fraud, tracking the crypto transactions, and coordinating with relevant platforms and law enforcement agencies.
Within a few weeks, ICC Recovery helped recover almost all of the stolen funds. They were professional, transparent, and incredibly responsive throughout the entire process. I honestly don’t know where I would be without their help. If you’ve been a victim of fraud, services like ICC Recovery can help you get your money back. Act quickly and seek help if you’ve been scammed. You can reach ICC at: (IRON-CLAD-CYBER--TECHIE-.com) (IRON-CLAD-CYBER-RECOVERY--GMAIL-.com) (Telegram: ICCRECOVERY).

It all started with an email. It looked legitimate like it came from my bank. Same logos, same tone, same formatting. But within 24 hours, I realized I had fallen victim to a sophisticated phishing scam. I watched in horror as $239,000 was drained from my investment account nearly my entire life savings. I was devastated. I contacted my bank immediately, but they told me that once the transaction was confirmed on the blockchain, it was irreversible. That’s when the panic truly set in. I filed a police report and even contacted a few cybersecurity consultants, but they all told me the same thing: there was nothing they could do. Then I found Malice Cyber Recovery. I was skeptical at first. Most people say crypto and digital fund recovery is impossible. But from the first interaction, Malice stood out. They were professional, responsive, and most importantly realistic. They didn’t make wild promises. Instead, they carefully reviewed the transaction, analyzed the addresses involved, and laid out a step-by-step plan. What impressed me most was their transparency. I was assigned a recovery agent who kept me updated regularly, explaining how they were tracking the movement of my stolen funds across wallets and exchanges. Within just over three weeks, I got the message I never thought I’d see: “We’ve recovered the funds.” And sure enough, $239,000 was safely transferred back into my secured wallet. Every dollar accounted for. Malice Cyber Recovery gave me more than just my money back they gave me peace of mind. I now have better digital security practices in place, and I owe it all to their team. If you’ve been a victim of cyber theft or crypto scams, don’t give up. I’m living proof that there’s still hope and Malice Cyber Recovery is the team to call.
